Lovre Marušić is a Croatian pianist, winner of prestigious competitions in the USA, Portugal and France. In 2021, Lovre already managed to impress the Lithuanian audience with authentic interpretations and the highest craftsmanship. solo recital held at the National Philharmonic during the Vilnius Piano Music Festival. The pianist is currently actively performing in his native Croatia, as well as in Switzerland, Germany and Austria. Lovre Marušić studies at the Ferenz Liszt High School of Music in Weimar, his teacher is Grigorijus Gruzmano. The pianist has won awards in various competitions, among which in 2018 won the first prizes at the 20th International St. Cecilia Competition in Porto, International Music Festival and Competition in Paris, 2016. won first prizes at the international competition "New Stars" (in Manchester), the World Piano Educators Competition in London and the Serbian composer and pedagogue Isidor Bajič's competition in Novi Sad; in the last competition, the pianist was also awarded jury and audience awards. in 2020 in the summer, L. Marušić reached the finals of one of the most prestigious - the Cleveland pianists competition, and last year he won the second prize at the Cleveland competition. L. Marušić is an associate professor of the Piano Department at the Academy of Music in Zagreb, participated in the competition in Belgrade as a jury member, and is the artistic director of the Croatian Chamber Music Festival "Ostinato". His debut CD was recorded in the KNS company. 2018-2019 the pianist gave recitals in Cologne and Kassel, and also performed in Croatia, China, Japan, Portugal and France.
