Luc Besson (French: Luc Paul Maurice Besson b. 18 March 1959, Paris, France) is a French film director.
His first wife was the famous model and actress Milla Jovovich, whom he married in 1997 and divorced in 1999. Second wife Virginie Silla, whom he married in 2004.
In the USA, he founded his own company, Les Films du Loup, whose name was changed to Les Films du Dauphin.
