Born in 1978 in Telšiai. Graduated from Eduardas Balsis Gymnasium of Arts in 1996. In 2001 he graduated from the Vilnius Academy of Arts with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sculpture. Since 2003 he has been working as a props designer at Vilnius Lėlė Theatre, since 2008 - as the head of the Artistic Staging and Technical Service Department. Lukošius has also created sculptures in Lithuania, Poland, and participated in plein-air events. Since 1997 he has been cooperating with Vilnius Sculpture Garden and Vladas Vildžiūnas Art Gallery.
