Translator. At the age of 16, he finished 12th grade at Panevėžys Juoz Balčikonis Gymnasium and entered Vilnius University, where he studied mathematics. He chose Japanese studies as a minor subject and studied in Japan for a year as part of an exchange program. After returning to Lithuania, he taught and worked at the Oriental Studies Center of Vilnius University for some time. Later, he went to South Korea on an exchange program, where he stayed and completed his studies in Korean linguistics. Now he still lives in South ...Korea and translates various works in Korean-Lithuanian-Japanese languages. Contributed to Lithuanian encyclopedia entries about Korean culture and language. He is best known for translating Hailji's "Republic of Užupis" into Lithuanian, as well as Antanas Baranauskas' classic "Anykščiai šileli" into Korean.
