saxophonist, composer, teacher, performer of jazz and improvisational music. in 2014 after graduating from the Stasios Šimkaus Conservatory, he further deepened his musical knowledge at Kaunas Vytautas the Great University, in the class of Liud Mockūnas and Tomas Razmaus. During most of his studies, Mindaugas gained experience from the well-known improvisational music performer Arno Mikalkėnas, with whom he recorded the first joint album "Sand in Your Shoes" (Mikalkėnas, Apulskis, Giedra). Having actively participated in various jazz festivals in Lithuania and having accumulated great experience playing with the most famous Lithuanian jazz performers and groups, Mindaugas decided to continue his studies at the University of the Netherlands "Prince Claus Conservatorium", where he completed his master's studies and had the opportunity to do an internship in New York. Experienced here from musicians such as Michael Moore, Tim Berne, George Garzone, Walter Smith III, Miguel Zenon and many others. M. Apulskis had the honor to appear on stage with such musicians as Arnas Mikalkėnas, Michael Moore, Billy Hart, Jojo Mayer, Rafael Abdalla, Roberto Pistolesi, Aleksander Skoric and many other great music performers.
