Monika Ryškutė - Žimailė - flutist, who has been actively performing in various cities of Lithuania for several years, playing at festivals, cultural events and concerts organized by herself. In addition to her concert activities with her long-time stage friend, pianist Goda Palskyte - Mineikiene, Monika has been teaching at the Kaunas District Art School for more than four years. Monika is also a member of the Lithuanian Musicians' Union. For her active concert activities, Monika was awarded the status of Artist. As a professional flute performer and musician, Monika is the ambassador of "Azumi flutes" company and name in Lithuania.
Monika completed her bachelor's and master's studies in flute performance at the Academy of Music of Vytautas the Great University, in Giedrias Gelgot's class. During his undergraduate studies, he went to Italy to study at the Giuseppe Verdi Conservatory in Milan for half a year. After her bachelor's studies, Monika participated in various master courses in Germany, England, France and Lithuania, where she gained experience from the most famous foreign music professionals. Monika studied for three years at Professor William Bennett's flute summer school, where she gained invaluable experience in the art of playing the flute.
