Darius Žičkus is a contemporary music composer and performer, also known as Nazcaman. He is an electronic ambient music composer, pianist, and producer.
Biography
Žičkus spent many years living and creating in London. For the past six years, he has been residing in Palanga. Žičkus has a background in classical music and lived in London for several decades.
Žičkus says that Nazcaman embodies everything that is mystical, dreams, sixth sense, and the fourth dimension.
Career
Žičkus has been working as a music composer since January 2018. In March 2024, Žičkus, under the stage name Nazcaman, created a new version of the song "Eyes Are Loud" by alternative music performer Ingaja. In September 2023, Žičkus created special musical tracks for cafes and restaurants in Palanga.
Education
From 2007 to 2009, he attended the University of Surrey, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree with upper second-class honors in Creative Sound Design for New Media. He also attended the Academy of Contemporary Music Degree Course. From 1988 to 1991, Žičkus studied music at the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre.
