He studied cello at the J. Naujalis Music Gymnasium, then entered the J. Gruodis Conservatory, choral conducting. He continued his music studies at the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theater, where he graduated with majors in choral conducting and later singing.
The singer's repertoire includes both old operas, oratorios, cantatas and chamber music genres, as well as a considerable part of the repertoire consists of opus of contemporary music. Masevičius performs actively both in Lithuania and abroad. He performed with the Lithuanian Chamber Orchestra, the Lithuanian State Symphony Orchestra, the Lithuanian National Symphony Orchestra, the Kaunas Symphony Orchestra, the Panevėžys Chamber Orchestra and the Chamber Orchestra of Oristan (Italy), St. Christopher Chamber Orchestra, ensembles "Musica Humana", "Banchetto Musicale", Baltic Baroque Orchestra, "Musica silentii" (Estonia), "Antiphona" (France), "Flori Pari" (Poland), "Alta Capella" (Russia) , Le Tendre Amour (Spain).
He took part in the Thomos Mann, Vilnius and Pažaislis festivals, as well as the festivals Banchetto Musicale, Jauna muzika, Gaida, Kultur Festival (Turkey), Millennium Pace (Spain), Zalataja maska, Renaissance (Russia), "Pasage" (France) and other festivals.
He recorded 14 CDs with other artists, including W.A. Mozart's "Vespere solennes de confessore", "Cantate Domino" (7th century music of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania), Ariel Ramirez's "Misa Criolla", Pawel Lukaszewski's "Via Crucis".
