was born in Bergen on the west coast of Norway in 1989. In 1997 he moved to Oslo where he started his musical career.
Ole Christian was born into a very musical family. His grand father - Henry Haagenrud (1925 - 2012) - was regarded as one of the highest ranked accordion players in Norway, and his father - Per Gisle Haagenrud - played the violin in Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra for many years, and is now teaching the violin to lots of young talents.
Ole Christian's sister also plays the violin, and has now followed her brother to Norwegian Academy of Music. The two talents have had lots of moments together, from the early years and till today.
