Rahel Talts is a young jazz pianist who currently lives and works mainly in Denmark. He graduated from Tallinn's Georg Otsa Music School (2018) majoring in rhythm music piano and is currently studying jazz piano and composition at Master's degree in Odense Syddansk Musikkonservatorium (fourth year) in Denmark.
Rahel plays or has participated in several bands and projects in Estonia, Denmark and Lithuania. Some of them are, for example, the fusion group Allianss (Estonia), Allan Kaljaste Smooth Group (Estonia), who cultivates smooth jazz, his self-titled Rahel Talts Ensemble (Denmark, international), Jazz-fusion group J.R. In Fusion (Denmark), Saulius Petreikis World Orchestra (Lithuania) and many others. The main styles played by Talts are traditional jazz, modern pop-jazz, fusion, folk and gospel.
Rahel conducts, writes and arranges music for the self-titled 14-member band Rahel Talts Ensemble, with which the first single from the soon-to-be-released album was recently released.
