Born and studied in Kaunas. in 1974 became the winner of the "Dainų dainelė" competition. J. Gruodis music school in 1982. graduated from the piano class, and in 1986 - choral conducting specialty at J. Gruodis Conservatory. Since 1992 works at the Kaunas State Musical Theater as a choirmaster. Prepares the theater choir for all productions. She herself performs episodic roles in musicals, children's and dance performances. Assists actors in preparing roles, works with children singing in performances. Since 2016 December. Rasa Vaitkevičiūtė is the chief choirmaster of the Kaunas Musical Theater.
