1972-1976 studied at the Lithuanian State Conservatoire. In 1976 he became an actor at Kaunas State Academic Drama Theatre, and since 1995 he has been acting at the Lithuanian National Drama Theatre. R. Bagdzevičius starred in the LNK series Uninvited Love and Company of Honour
