Sandra Kazlauskaitė is an artist and researcher working with sound and sound cultures. Her works have been exhibited and presented in the United Kingdom, Iceland, Lithuania, Norway, Germany and the United States of America. in 2019 she received her PhD from Goldsmiths University for her practical and theoretical work 'Extended Acoustics: Practicing Sound Feminism in the White Cube'. Her research has been published by MIT, Bloomsbury and VDA Press. Sandra teaches sound and music theory at the University of Lincoln, where she also conducts research on soundscapes, listening practices, audio-visual arts practices, and sound and music cultures. The artist creates ambient music and is a member of two female and non-binary DJ collectives - SISU and GUYZ.
