Simonas Šipavičius - saxophonist, composer, member of the collectives "Sheep Got Waxed", "Sheep Effect", "CinAmono", "Lithuanian JJazz Ensemble". Nine-year-old S. Šipavičius started learning to play the saxophone at the Kretinga Art School. Later he studied at Klaipėda Stasios Šimkaus Conservatory, from 2007 continued his studies at the Jazz Department of the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre, prof. in the class of Petros Vyšniauskas. Here, the saxophonist earned his bachelor's and master's degrees in music performance. in 2010 He was recognized as the best instrumentalist in the Vilnius Jazz Young Power competition, and in 2011 won the Grand Prix with the group "Sheep Got Waxed". S. Šipavičius has appeared at all major Lithuanian jazz festivals, actively performs on the stages of Lithuania and Europe, and among the last concert tours - China, South Korea and Taiwan.
