Born in Madrid, she began her academic training in this city at the Faculty of Art History, the School of Architecture and the Royal School of Dramatic Art, to which she added a master's degree in Scenography between the Faculty of Theatre in Utrecht in Holland and the same school, DAMU, in Prague, Czech Republic. However, she began working in the world of cinema very early on, first in short films and then as art director in films by Elías Querejeta, Tornasol Films, Fernando Colomo P.C., Mediapro, El Deseo or La Zona. And with directors such as Fernando León, Joaquín Oristrell, Fernando Colomo, Roberto Santiago, Daniela Fejerman, Chema de la Peña or Nacho Vigalondo. The development of this multidisciplinary and unstable profession led her to develop her own creative projects far removed from the audiovisual field. From small editions of book-objects to textile collections of kimonos and carpets or compositions with natural flowers and plants. These latter materials, worked with scenographic techniques, control of space and vanishing points and their interrelations with light, textures, colour and movement, have led him to landscape works on different scales. From portable gardens in a small container to designs for terraces and gardens of hundreds of m2. To this end, he maintains ongoing training in botany by attending courses such as those at the Castillo de Batres Landscaping School, La Casa Encendida or La Academia del Paisaje. What began as a passion for the resistance and colours and textures of succulent plants has led to a specialisation in living compositions that grow and perpetuate themselves over time with minimal water needs.
