In 1974 he graduated from the Mažeikiai Music Academy, in 1977 from the Mažeikiai Secondary School, in 1985 from Vilnius University, part-time studies in Lithuanian studies. He worked in Mažeikiai enterprises and cultural institutions, and since 1988 in the Mažeikiai Oilmen's Palace of Culture: artistic director and director of the folklore ensemble, folk theater. He was a laureate of the "Dainų dainelė 1976" competition, a prizewinner of the "Vilnius Towers 1987" competition. A figure of Lithuanian independent art. He released an audio cassette of his own songs "Gyvenimas tik prasidės" (1994), a compact disc of his own works (1998), and a book of poems and drawings "Tylėjime save poznės" (1995).
