hails from the coastal city of Dar Es Salam in Tanzania. Although not the norm for an emerging East African LGBTQ+ artist, Tofa has already done a lot as a songwriter, film score composer, and recording and touring in Africa and internationally. The artist was nominated for one of Africa's most important awards, AFRIMA, and won an award at the Zanzibar International Film Festival, ZIFF, for a soundtrack created for an animated film.
His warm but shy nature hides a great talent. He is currently touring Europe and the UK on his second tour.
