Uršulė is currently a resident director at the Berliner Ensemble for the season 2022/2023.
Born and raised in Vilnius, Uršulė has worked as a freelance theatre director in various theatres in Lithuania, directed play readings, radio play, assisted-directed along with directing fashion shows.
Uršulė's shows are described as humorous feminist pieces, that explore the female identity within the faltering of patriarchal model of the world and ever-changing society that outbalances powers and forces, the influence of cultural and societal movements' onto society's hierarchal processes, the mechanisms of status and control, and manifestations of religious archetypes in atheist societies.
Uršulė holds BA diploma in Theatre Directing from Lithuanian Music and Theatre Academy (course leaders Jonas Vaitkus & Agnius Jankevičius).
She has graduated from MA of Theatre directing programme at the same academy in 2020 (course leader Yana Ross).
In 2021 The Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Lithuania awarded Uršulė with the "Young Artist Prize".
