dance teacher, budding choreographer and professional dance performer. Having entered the field of urban dance in her teenage years, she tried various styles of street dance over the years. At that time, he became interested in the world of contemporary and modern dance, so he entered the National M.K. Čiurlionis School of Arts, modern dance department. After reaching adulthood, in the summer of 2017, she went to the Kingdom of the Netherlands to study at Codarts University of the Arts, where in 2021 obtained a bachelor's degree. At the university, Vaiva participated in modern dance and ballet classes every day, and during her four years of study, she danced choreographies by Lucinda Childs, Andonis Foniadakis, Felix Landerer, Wayne McGregor, Martha Graham, Lorand Zachar and other creators, and participated in other dance projects. During her studies, Vaiva felt a great need to additionally engage in creative activities, in the center of Rotterdam, at The Performance Bar, an alternative culture space, she presented 13 sketches of her work.
Returning to Lithuania after her studies, she created a dance film with the students of the M.K. Čiurlionis School of Arts majoring in modern dance. Currently, Vaiva Paukštė is engaged in pedagogical activities and studies a master's degree in theater art and directing at the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theater (LMTA).
