Studied at the Crimean Art College (1976-1979) and the Leningrad Institute of Theatre, Music and Cinematography (workshop of Gennady Sotnikov, 1983-1988).
He worked as the chief set designer of the Krasnoyarsk Theater of Musical Comedy, the Novgorod Drama Theater, the Drama Theater of the Baltic Fleet.
