Behind the name "Vejopatis" hides Vilnius native Nikolaus Polujanov, who chose the name of the seaside and wind deity to give meaning to the currents of pulsating music. The author of this memorable title tells a sonic story where bright dub/techno, electronic explorations merge with nostalgic visuals, dreamy ethno fragments. Since 2011, the project "Vejopatis" is one of the residents of the Lithuanian label "Cold Tear Records", shaping the musical terrain with its own style. "Vejopatis" compositions, rooted in abstract latitudes, leave a lot of space for thoughts, self-knowledge and unrestrained dance. The harmonies of ethno music resonate, bridging the past with the present, inviting listeners to immerse themselves in an intimate experience that unfolds with every note. The overlapping of melodies, the intertwining of folklore with the present moment, creates a familiar and at the same time new synthesis.
