Vida Taurinskaitė-Rukšienė (soprano), started singing from a young age, won laurels as a songstress after graduating from the violin major 4 times at the Šiauliai Conservatory, entered the LMTA solo singing department, where prof. I. Milkevičiūtė's class. He improved with famous vocal pedagogues, interned with prof. I. Loebli and J. Walling in solo singing master classes. 2000 she was awarded an honorary diploma at R. Scott's international master courses. Became a graduate student in 2005. in the held international competition of vocalists concertmasters. The singer cooperates with Lithuanian chamber and symphonic groups and ensembles, participates in various festivals in Lithuania and abroad. Opera, operetta, cantata or song genres are equally important in the soloist's repertoire. She sings solo parts of various large-scale pieces. The singer has recorded four CDs, a number of radio and television recordings. Successfully performed in Austria, Belgium, Italy, France, Switzerland, Sweden, Germany and Denmark.
