The Kaunas String Quartet and actress Inesa Paliulytė present a musical afternoon for the whole family "Žiogis smuikeliai", where you will listen to upbeat music by Lithuanian composers, hear Lithuanian folk tales and selected poems. You will dance, laugh, be surprised, clap, stomp, clap! Well, the performers will have fun with you!
The Kaunas String Quartet often organizes not only afternoons for the family, but also education for children in schools and kindergartens, because creativity encouraged from a young age arouses curiosity and interest in the world of art. "Music is a tuning fork for a child's emotions. Children hear, feel, play music together, and fall in love with music for life!" - say the members of the quartet.
I. Paliulytė, an actress, director, theater pedagogue, playwright, laureate of the Golden Cross of the Stage, who assists the quartet, has a great deal of experience working with children. She says, "I love children the most in the world because...I NEVER GET BORED with them!"
