In Vilnius, the "Evening of Poems and Incantations" is waiting, during which two bright personalities will take the stage: poet, winner of the National Culture and Art Prize Rimvydas Stankevičius and songwriter and performer Domantas Razauskas.
Poet, songwriter, stage rebel Domantas Razauskas celebrated his 40th anniversary with a concert tour this year. The artist, who often appears on stage with Saulius Petreikis or the group "Vos Vos", will sing alone this time: "After a noisy concert tour, you want peace, so this evening will be like that, with a guitar, calmly performed songs, among the poetry read by Rimvydas" - says Domantas when inviting him to the concert Razauskas
Rimvydas Stankevičius - poet, prose writer, essayist, journalist, this year was awarded the National Culture and Art Prize. His poetry has been translated into German, Polish, Swedish, Finnish, English and other languages, published in almanacs published abroad. He writes texts for songs performed by famous country bards Kostas Smoriginas, Saulius Bareikis, Gediminas Storpiristis and others. R. Stankevičius has brought a very original, authentic character to the treasury of Lithuanian poetry and literature. "My poetry reflects the relationship between here and there. A person tends to believe that his existence does not end with this life, so each of us has a secret desire to open the curtain and see what is sensed, but not visible with the eyes", says R. Stankevičius.
What connects these two artists? The answer is simple - creativity, improvisation and poetic spells. Therefore, a warm summer evening will be a great gift for all those who visited, in which the duo will speak and sing poetry.
