in 2023 August 9 at 7 p.m. singing actors - OLEGAS DITKOVSKIS and SAULIUS BAREIKIS - will invite you to meet in the cozy courtyard of the Lithuanian Museum of the History of Education, Kaunas (Vytautos pr. 52). The duo, which rarely performs together, has prepared a nostalgic program of original songs, which includes the most beautiful songs created during their studies, and the talented artists will dedicate them to all fans of traditional singing poetry.
Oleg Ditkovskis and Saulius Bareikis are excellent melodists, creators of sensitive songs. The duet of these wolves of the stage is extremely rarely seen and heard, and precisely because of that, it is very much expected and missed. It is very likely that bards with a subtle sense of humor will perform not only sentimental ballads, but also playful, witty, animalistic (and not only) songs.
The duet of Oleg Ditkovskis and Saulius Bareikis was formed during their studies, when both actors worked at the Šiauliai Drama Theater and wrote songs and lyrics together. Dainu str. 47-32 - this address in the Šiauliai dormitory was well known to many people from Šiauliai, because it was from there that the songs known to this day came from. Later, these songs appeared on an audio cassette, played in the repertoires of the "Actor's Trio" and "Adios" groups.
