Under the leadership of Artūras Dambrauskas, a renowned Lithuanian choir conductor and pedagogue, the choir implements changes in its creative strategy, leading to innovative, versatile and modern works.  Educational activities and the International St. James Festival The choir, which is always active in concert, takes care of the dissemination of choral art by organising playful and attractive programmes especially for children. Since 2011, the choir has been a member of the International St. James Festival. The choir has been organising the St. James Festival since 2011, which has become an integral part of Vilnius' cultural life. Every autumn, the festival colours the city with the sounds of sacred music, attracting a wide audience.  Management and artistic leadership Doc. Artūras Dambrauskas, who has been the director of the Vilnius State Choir since 2015, is not only the head of the Department of Music Theory and Pedagogy at the VMU Academy of Music, but is also the head of the Department of Music Theory and Pedagogy of the International St. He is also the Artistic Director of the St. James Festival.
