Mindaugas Vadoklis was born on May 7, 1979 in Vilnius. Studied at Klaipėda Eduard Balsis Gymnasium of Arts, studied at Klaipėda S. Šimkaus Conservatory. He obtained a bachelor's degree in jazz trumpet at the Faculty of Arts of Klaipėda University, and a master's degree at the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theater. Mindaugas is a member of various Lithuanian jazz big bands and ensembles: Lithuanian Art Orchestra, Lithuanian Jazz Ensemble, Klaipėda Jazz Orchestra, Baltic Salsa Orchestra, etc. Since 2007 works in the KASP big band. 2009-2017 taught at the jazz department of the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre. Since 2016 is the manager of VšĮ "Menų cechas".
Mindaugas Vadoklis - one of the most talented and versatile trumpet players of Lithuanian improvisational music, who creatively expresses himself not only in musical, but also in interdisciplinary art projects, is the founder and head of VšĮ Menų cechas.
The work of this promising musician is highly valued for its musicality and distinctive and unique sound. Mindaugas cooperates with many Lithuanian and foreign jazz, funk, pop, hip hop, world and electronic music artists, with whom he has recorded over 15 music albums. Mindaugas is a participant in many international jazz festivals, as well as the organizer of the "Jazzpark" festival. He plays in the most famous halls of Europe and the world, has performed with such international stars as Jojo Mayer, Sheila Raye Charles, Herbie Kopf, Victor Mendoza and many other well-known Lithuanian and foreign musicians.
