Belonged to the World Congress of Lithuanian Youth, was the chairman of the American Lithuanian Youth Organization, in 1991 During the events of January, he worked as a volunteer translator in the Supreme Council. Later, he was an assistant to the Chairman of the Supreme Council, Vytautas Landsbergis - handling correspondence with Western countries, maintaining relations with the media. After returning to the USA, he worked at the Lithuanian Embassy with Stasys Lozoraitis, 1991-1995. in the Lithuanian mission to the United Nations.
