20th century Lithuanian poet, modernist and translator of the second half.
1962-1966 worked in the newspaper "Literature and Art", 1973-1974. "Language Vilnius". He started publishing poems in 1956. The first collection of poetry "Spring watercolors" appeared in 1960. Later, he published a number of collections of poems, wrote poetry and fairy tales for children. Translated works of Anna Akhmatova, O. Bergolc, D. Maksimovič, L. Carroll. The author's work has been translated into English, Norwegian, Russian, and Latvian
