Airida Gudaitė's goals and aspirations as a creator and performer are conveyed in the activities and mission of the established urban dance theater Low Air. Low Air's mission is to increase awareness of Lithuanian urban dance culture through the creation of cultural communities, staging dance performances, performances, creating learning opportunities and various social programs accessible to every person.
Founded in 2012 by Airida Gudaitė and Lauryn Žakevičius, the first Urban Dance Theater in Lithuania, Low Air, aims to reveal the artistic potential of street dance and present it to theater lovers.
The debut performance is a sensuous duet of urban and contemporary dance "Feel-Link", presented in the "Open Space" program for young artists of the Arts Press. For this debut work, the performers were not only nominated for the country's highest theater award, but also won the favor of critics and the theater community. The play is shown until today, it has already been presented about 100 times in 12 countries of the world.
The presented works were awarded two Golden Stage Crosses - the music, theater, literature and dance performance "Journey Home" and the visual dance performance "Game Over".
Low Air experiments by combining different dance styles and movement forms, choosing the themes of the pieces and educating young dancers on stage. Works are presented at various art festivals in Lithuania and abroad, creators participate in different art projects, dance seminars, present works at international fairs, representing Lithuanian urban and contemporary dance.
