Arturo Mariotti was born in Turin on 16 January 1994.
He started playing classical guitar at 7 years old
At the age of 11 he entered the secondary school "C.Nigra" with Giorgio Tonin and three years later the “G. Verdi” Conservatory in Turin with Frederic Zigante and than with Dora Filippone
He graduated with full honours
At the age of 15 yeras he won the "Young Interpreters" competition in Turin
He participated to a number of masterclass courses with Oscar Ghiglia, Eliot Fisk (at the "Accademia Chigiana in Siena), Eduardo Eguez, Peter Croton, Luk Vaes, Francisco Rocca and Vincenzo Caporaletti
In 2019 and 2021 he graduated with "full marks" in his Master Performance and Master Pedagogy at the "Hochschule der Künste Bern" (Switzerland) with Elena Càsoli
He is the winner and finalist of international competitions including "Favria City", "Lions Club", "Sommariva Bosco" ,in 2019 he win the 1st prize to the "Diapason Doro" Competition. In 2016 and 2018 he won (2 times) a scholarship to participate in the workshop organized by the “Giorgio Cini” Foundation in Venice
Since 2017 he is one of the scholarship holders "De Sono"
In the same year and in the 2018 he won two other scolarships : "Rita Zimmerman Stiftung " and "Geert un Lore Blanken-Schlemper-Stiftung"
Between 2016 and 2021 he was invited to play for various associations and festivals including De Sono, Music Festival, MiTo, Flashback, Turin city of the thousand strings and "I Risveglianti" where he performed as soloist and with the ensemble "FFFortissimo Guitar Quartet"
In 2018 he played two times (with his quartet of strings and flute) for the opening concert of the "Berner Symphonie Orchestra"
He was the guitar teacher of the "Guitare Actuelle" school of music in Torino from the 2013 to 2017 and since September 2019 he is the new guitar teacher of the "Amo Musikschule" school of music in Switzerland
From the 2022 is the new guitar teacher at the "Zürich Conservatorz of Music"
He performed in Italy, Austria, France, Spain and Switzerland
