Darío Vallecillo, a native of Utrera (Seville). He began his drum studies at the age of four under the guidance of Italian drummer Stefano Di Rubbo. After several years of official academic studies, he completed Higher Music Studies at the Badajoz Conservatory and Musikene, Higher Music Center of the Basque Country.The musician from Utrera has shared the stage with different relevant artists from our country in some of the most important stages of this country, as well as other places in the world. In 2018 he works with the Company of bailaor Israel Galván at the XXI Bienal deFlamenco from Seville. He highlights his participation in the XX Festival of World Music and Gnawa Music in Essaouira (Marrackech) accompanying the group La Bejazz along with those who will also attend the Festival Outono em Jazz in Porto. He works in various flamenco festivals in our country, such as the San Sebastián Flamenco Cycle, the Utrera Flamenco Industry Fair or the Badajoz Flamenco and Fado Festival together with the artist Concha Buika. In addition, he has participated in the flamenco festivals in Rotterdam, The Hague and Amsterdam. In the classical-symphonic sphere, he collaborates with the Euskadi Orchestra, the Extremadura Orchestra, the Bilbao Symphony Orchestra, the Córdoba Orchestra, the Bilbao Municipal Band and the Seville Municipal Symphonic Band.In addition, his participation stands out in the premiere of the work Entre Bóvedas for two percussionists and organ by the composer Félix Ibarrondo, National Music Award 2019 and his work with the composers Kaija Saariaho, Manuel Busto or José Luis Campana.He is currently working with the production company Beon Entertainment on the musicals El Médico and El Tiempo entre Costuras. In addition, he teaches percussion and flamenco courses in Spain (Seville, Malaga or Donosti) and Europe (Amsterdam, Rotterdam or Delft).
