well known not only in his country but also abroad, having played under Ennio Morricone, Antonino Fogliani and Giuseppe Ratti. He is the founder and director of the flute orchestra "Afflatus" and the Sicilian flute orchestra "Triscele". in 2019 he was awarded the Corrado Maranci Music Award of Syracuse as the best performer of Sicilian classical music.
