"Opka" is a group formed by ethnomusicology students, aiming to restore the sound of the singing tradition of the village of Skuoliai (Želva district, Ukmergė district). The performance of one village's repertoire allows us to analyze in detail the uniqueness and diversity of pronunciation, timbre, melismatics, and unique ways of assent, thus challenging established stereotypes about highland singing. The girls know the singers of the village of Skuoliai only from archival recordings, so singing serves as a dialogue, constantly returning to the question - what was important to you? The girls will sing melodies sung by performers Emilija Keršienė-Petkevičiūtė (1913), Zofija Keršienė-Žvinytė (1903), Adelė Virbalienė-Dapkutė (1906), Teresė Virbalienė-Virbalytė (1911) and Uršulė Paknienė-Šeduikytė (1900).
