NotaBene was founded in 2015. The ensemble consists of: Maxym Hrynchenko (violin), Andriy Pavlov (violin), Ihor Zavhorodniy (viola), Artem Poludennyy (cello). Young Ukrainian musicians are laureates of prestigious national and international competitions, known both in Ukraine and abroad. The ensemble's repertoire is extremely wide and is distinguished by a variety of styles and eras. It includes classical works (from Viennese classics to composers of the early 20th century) and modern academic compositions, both by Ukrainian and international composers. The variety of genres and the search for interesting lineups of performers is a distinctive feature of the NotaBene Chamber Group. As a result, the repertoire of musicians is truly wide: from piano duets with violin, viola, cello and clarinet to trios, quartets, quintets, sextets, or even chamber vocal works. The ensemble actively collaborates with leading Ukrainian and international soloists, including Henrik Brandstrup, Ivan Kucher, Denis Severin, Oleksiy Shadrin (cello); Jose Riber (piano); Sakari Tepponen, Andriy Byelov (violin); Andriy Chop (viola); Inna Halatenko (soprano). Permanent cooperation with composer Ofer Ben-Amots (Israel, USA) was established during the festival-summer course "Landesmusik-akademie" in Oxenhausen (Germany).
