During the years of studies in the Kaunas Juozas Naujalis Music School she won 2nd prize in V. Radovičius Competition of Young Musicians. In 1993 entered Lithuanian Academy of Music, while studies there she was invited to take a position of the first violin of Kaunas String Quartet. With this ensemble Indrė Andruškevičiūtė appeared in numerous festivals of Lithuania: Pažaislis Music Festival, „Iš arti“, „Nova musica“, „Kaunas jazz“, „Marių klavyrai“, Vilnius String Quartets Festival, „Jauna muzika“, „Gaida“ and others. I. Andruškevičiūtė earned her Master Degree from Kaunas Faculty of the Lithuanian Academy of Music in 1999, and in 2000 got a proposal to join the chamber orchestra “Kremerata Baltica” conducted by Gidon Kremer. In 2009 she joined Kaunas City Symphony Orchestra as well as started her pedagogical activities in Kaunas Juozas Naujalis Music Gymnasium.
