was born in 1987, in a family of musicians. The first musical skills were formed at home, which were later improved at the "Varpelis" choral singing school. 1995 - 2004 studied at J. Naujalis music gymnasium, in Rymantė Šerkšnytė's class. During this period, Motiejs participated and became a laureate in many international and national competitions. He has played with Kaunas, Lithuania, and Tallinn chamber orchestras. 2004 - 2006 Motiejus studied at the J. Gruodis Conservatory, in Sonata Bielionytė's class. Since 2006 studies at LMTA, Faculty of Kaunas, in professor Zbignev Ibelhaupt's class. 2008 - 2009 under the exchange program he studied at the Hamburg University of Music, in the class of professor Volker Banfield. Since 2003 Motiejs is interested in chamber music. He has participated and won several international competitions, participated in festivals with ensembles of various compositions. The piano duo of the brothers Motiejaus and Mykolas Bazarai has been active since childhood. A considerable repertoire has been accumulated, which has been repeatedly evaluated in competitions and festivals. Motiejus is also interested in jazz, he is a member of many jazz ensembles and projects. The self-assembled trio has won several international awards. Motiejus is open to new musical ideas, is interested in and explores different specific styles, experiments in the field of electronic music.
