Mykolas Natalevičius

Lithuanian composer working in various fields of music, from acoustic instrumental music to experimental electronics. in 2011 In the Lithuanian Composers' Union's Best Works of the Year competition, he won the debut prize for the work "Kampana" for symphony orchestra, in 2012. was awarded the Young Creator Award of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Lithuania, 2017 – elected chairman of the Lithuanian Composers' Union. He is an associate professor of the Composition Department of the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theater and a member of the senate.
The composer is interested in the ideas of synthesis of arts, he is a participant of the artistic association "Operomanija". in 2008 the composer, together with his colleagues from the "New Opera Action" creative group, was awarded for the best stage work in the Lithuanian Composers' Union's selection of works of the year. The composer also writes music for drama theater (in 2008 at the 9th International University Theater Forum "Traces of Generation" he received an award for the music for the performance "The Return") and for video films (the joint work of video artist Rimos Sakalauskas and M. Natalevičius "Synchronization", created in 2009 , won seven international awards and was shown in forty festivals and exhibitions in various countries). M. Natalevičius actively performs as a performer - pianist, singer.
