He started learning to play the guitar on his own, later he studied with Jonas Jurkūnas and Valdas Grendas. He became interested in jazz music early. He was especially interested in guitarists Pat Metheny, John Scofield, Kurt Rosenwinkel. Actively participates in various musical projects as a composer and performer. He has won the first places in the Vilnius Jazz Young Power and Jazz Fontanas competitions. He has played in various projects in Germany, France, Poland, Turkey, Belarus, Estonia, Latvia, participated in most of the major Lithuanian jazz festivals and the activities of the Vilnius Jazz Orchestra.
