In 1972, I graduated from the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Vilnius. By appointment, I started working at the Lithuanian Institute of Construction and Architecture (LSAMTI) in Kaunas. In 1976, I arrived in Šiauliai, where a male architect was already working by appointment. In 1977, I joined the Lithuanian Union of Architects. In 1995, I acquired the status of an artist. After retiring, I engaged in public activities. In 2010–2022, I was a member of the Council of the Šiauliai University of the Third Age, Dean of the Faculty of Culture and Art. I wanted people to learn more about architecture, the city and their environment. I am an architect who likes to “meet architecture”, explore and photograph the sounds and shadows of the city, and share my work with others.
