Tadas Motiečius is a young, promising accordionist. Pupil of Šiauliai Saulius Sondeckis School of Arts and Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theater (accordion class of Prof. Raimonds Sviackevičius). in 2014 participated in the international exchange program ERASMUS at the Royal Danish Academy of Music with the famous pedagogue Geir Draugsvoll. Participated in the master classes of the world's most famous educators: G. Draugsvoll (Denmark), O. Murray (Great Britain), J. Rattya and M. Luomma (Finland), S. Hussong and E. Moser (Germany), G. Stopa (Germany/ Austria), M. Bjeletic (Serbia), B. Zagoranski (Croatia), D. Vendramin, C. Jaccomucci, C. Rojac, S. Zanchini, M. Pittocco, G. Dellarole (Italy), B. Lenko (Slovakia) , K. Baran, Z. T. Motiečius is a laureate of the Queen Martha Award. He is one of the most active accordionists representing the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theater at various events in Lithuania and abroad. The artist has won more than 30 competitions in Lithuania, Poland, Latvia, the Czech Republic, Belarus, Ukraine, Estonia, Italy, Russia, France, Croatia and China. He performed in concert halls of Tallinn, Riga, Gdansk, Copenhagen music academies, Finland, Belarus, Latvia, Estonia, USA, Australia, Central America. Participated in national and international festivals-seminars in Switzerland, Italy, France, Estonia, Latvia, Poland, Finland. in 2012 In the summer, he participated in a traveling international orchestra project and a concert tour around Europe.
He collaborated in the events of the Lithuanian National Opera and Ballet Theater, Klaipėda State Music Theater, Baltic Chamber Opera Theater, Vilnius Theater "Lėlė", State Choir "Vilnius", as well as in innovative chamber, contemporary, jazz and vocal music projects.
