Flutist Vytautas Sriubikis graduated from the J.Tallat-Kelpša Conservatory (L.Šulskutes class) and continued his studies at the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theater (prof. A.Vizgirdas class).
In 1995, he entered the Music Academy of Würzburg (Germany) (class of Prof. Hermann Klemeyer), which he graduated in 2003 with a soloist diploma. Interned with prof. Jeanne Baxtresser (solo flute of the New York Philharmonic), Prof. Andreas Blau (solo flute of the Berlin Philharmonic) and Prof. Robert Winn (solo flute of the London Philharmonic).
V. Sriubikis, as a soloist and member of various collectives, performed at Queen Elisabeth Hall in Antwerp, Cologne Philharmonic, Berlin Philharmonic, Rotterdam Luxor Theater, Wiesbaden Konzerthaus, Istanbul Is Sanat Hall, Basel Stadtcasino, Berlin Konzerthaus, etc. in the halls. The flutist played with the orchestras of the St. Petersburg Chamber Philharmonic, St. Christopher, Münchener Bachsolisten, Klaipėda Chamber Orchestra and Camerata Würzburg.
Participated in Kristupa's summer, Al Bustani (Beirut, Lebanon), Saas Fee (Switzerland), Return, Festival vor Modern Music and Dance Jerusalem (Israel), Dresdener Tage für Neue Musik, Flute Fest (Bornholm, Denmark), Pazaisli and others. at festivals. With the self-initiated project Bach-India in November 2013. performed in India.
