He graduated from Academy of Music in Katowice as a student of Prof. Paweł Głombik. Wojciech Fudala was a Belgian Government scholarship holder at the Royal Conservatoire of Brussels, which he graduated with honours in the class of Prof. Jeroen Reuling. A most important step of his artistic education were studies at the Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel under Gary Hoffman.
Wojciech Fudala is a prizewinner of many competitions both home and abroad: Michał Spisak International Music Competition (II place and a Special Prize; 2010), David Popper International Cello Competition in Várpalota (III place; 2004) and Woluwe-Saint-Pierre cello Competition (Prix Edmond Beart; 2010).
As a soloist he made his debut in 2007 and since then he has been performing a lot together with Polish and foreign orchestras (Brussel Chamber Orchestra, Orchestre Royal de Chambre de Wallonie, Polska Filharmonia Bałtycka), also working with many distinguished conductors such as: Augustin Dumay, Łukasz Borowicz, Paweł Kotla, Michael Guttman and Massimiliano Caldi, Eiji Oue.
He appears regularly at the music festivals in Poland and abroad (Wratislavia Cantans, Jazztopad, Instrumental Music Festival in Katowice, Kamermuziekfestival Schiermonnikoog, Les estivales de Megève, Encuentro de Músicay Academia de Santander).
Since 2017 he performs regularly with a pianist Michał Rot. In 2019 they have premiered their debut CD album Mieczysław Wajnberg: Sonatas for Cello and Piano (DUX).
Since 2014 Wojciech Fudala is a solo cellist of the Wrocław Philharmonic Orchestra. Since 2018 he leads a cello class at the Music Academy in Łódź.
Wojciech Fudala plays an instrument built by J. Merciolle in 1933, given to him by the National Forum of Music.
