Can you believe it? a) summer is on its nose, b) PIN season III is coming to an end, c) we will close it with a data strategist, co-founder of the start-up Repsense, a man who (probably) will be associated with the Cambridge Analytica scandal for many years to come, but most importantly - the initiator of the Sober Summer - Alfred Chmieliauskas. Alfred even agreed to come back to Lithuania a few weeks early, so that we could close the PIN season and open Sober Summer at the same time.
Don't be scared, Alfred and I will talk about more than sobriety. I've been following this man closely ever since he started actively communicating on instagram and sharing his journey of awakening. Every morning, after my morning routine, I turn on instagram just to see what Alfred has to say today.
I don't know about you, but I'm really looking forward to this meeting.
Alfred's breadth of knowledge is incredible, his way of communicating warm, his mind sharp, his discipline enviable. But what has impressed me most is the change that has taken place. After years of living with alcohol addiction, being overweight, with a poisoned mind, one day he decided to change everything: to move to a small village in southern Spain, to give up drugs, to "repair" his crumbling relationships and, in effect, to rebuild himself. Before the conversation starts, I have no idea where it will take us. Today, it looks like we will touch on the following topics:
