Wakare Bivainytė, the young generation performer, the owner of an exceptional timbre, who is only 16 years old, together with a team of professional musicians (Dainius Pavilonis - keyboards, Andrius Afinogenovas - bass guitar, Nick Vinckevič - saxophone, Robertas Vilčinskas - percussion) has prepared an unusual-sounding jazz programme, in which jazz standards are performed in a unique way. 

Vakarė grew up in a family of musicians - her father is a saxophonist and her mother a pianist, so music has always been a part of her life. 

Vakarė started singing at a very young age. At some point in her childhood, her parents brought her to the music teacher and performer Jūratė Miliauskaitė. Then the most interesting period began - together with Jūrate, Vakarė listened to a lot of different music. At that time, she participated in many vocal competitions, where she won high prizes, but it always seemed to her that she was not singing what she liked best.

Then her vocal teacher, Jūratė, seeing her extraordinary talent and unique timbre, pointed her in the direction of jazz music."Vakarė is like bathing in such music, she has a unique feel for it," says Vakarė's vocal teacher J. Miliauskaitė. 

At the age of 14, Vakarė had her first taste of the big jazz stage when she presented a live programme with her band at the Kaunas Jazz Festival.
