The folk music of the Katooli hill tribe touches on various aspects - spirituality, stories of love, animals, sheep or cows, lamentations. It has remained unchanged for hundreds of years because the tribe lives in remote areas, far from civilisation. The Makama is passed on by parents and uncles through listening and repetition. Together with herding animals, they use music to bring love to their lives in nature.
