October 28 Paliesius Manor will play music close to all fans of modern classics, delicacy and improvisations. The amazing duo of Swiss pianists Judith Wegmann and Simon Bucher will perform Canto Ostinato by Dutch composer Simeon ten Holt, one of the most important pieces of minimalist music for piano.
There are really no words to describe this music. You can't listen to them like any other. It's an incomparable experience: you just float along with the sounds of Canto Ostinato, everything around you seems to melt, disappear. You fall into a trance-like state where all your senses intensify: hope, sadness, happiness and fear.
Canto Ostinato is full of vitality and energy. It is a meditative and at the same time very exciting experience. It is a work that opens up vast inner spaces, reminiscent of the rhythm of the sea, waves crashing on the shore again and again. It's a masterpiece of minimalism, a wonderful piece of work - the longer you listen to it, the more beautiful it is.
