Dalia Kuznecovaitė (violin)
David Geringas (cello, Lithuania-Germany)
Program:
Jean Sibelius - Piano Trio in C Major, "Lovisa" (Loviisa)
Anatoly Shenderov - "Song and Dance"
Franz Schubert - Piano Trio No. 2 in E flat major, Op. 100
Three exceptional performers - one unforgettable musical journey.
The renowned musicians who have come together to form a cohesive trio are invited to join in this exceptional concert: perhaps the most famous Lithuanian pianist Petras Geniušas, the world-renowned cellist David Gering, and the violinist Dalia Kuznecovaitė, who has performed on the biggest stages in Europe, Asia and America.
Their programme features the finest examples of the piano trio repertoire. Jean Sibelius's trio Lovisa is a work by the young composer that reflects Nordic nature and sensual harmony. Anatoly Shenderov's Song and Dance is a theatrical work full of contrasts, dedicated to David Goering. Austrian composer Franz Schubert's Trio No. 2 in E flat major, Op. 100 is a mature masterpiece, whose melodies can be heard even in films.
Grand evening with Grand Trio Vilnius!
