The audiovisual performance "Silence and noise" by Eimutis Markūnas and Arvydas Joffė is an interdisciplinary project that includes the opposition and interaction of improvisation of sound and painting. The action during the performance takes place live, without prior rehearsal and direction. The performance is dedicated to the connection of sounds and painting, dissonance and harmony. Musical instruments - sound, rhythm, pause, silence, noise. Painting tools - gesture, color, rhythm, silence, noise. The aim of the action is the interdisciplinary interaction of two art forms, new, unexpected combinations, contacts and contrasts.
