Violin and cello, six contemporary compositions and one visually intoned sound journey. What does it look like, what can be felt, how close is our imagination to audible, tangible, visible reality?

From complete silence to fortissimo, from a clean and smooth instrument line to noise whispers. This is the audiovisual project "Performa", which also became the first music album of the string duo "Twenty Fingers Duo" of Lora Kmieliauskaitė (violin) and Arno Kmieliauskas (cello).

"Performa" is united by differences - it is both the hypnosis of sound and the nerve that changes it, the anti-ensemble that breaks through the lyrics. The works written by Lithuanian composers specially for "Performa" allow authentic interaction with sound to unfold, to get into borderline situations. It is a personal, multi-faceted journey into a visual and audio experience full of sincerity, as well as gentle irony.
